Construction Completed for the “External Power Supply Project for WCS-1 ‘Girsan’ and WCS-2 ‘Chulkuvar’, including a Double-Circuit 35 kV Overhead Power Line and Relocation of a 35/6 kV 2x2500 kVA Substation”

To maximize the utilization of natural gas resources from depleted and low-production fields, JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” is implementing measures for the widespread deployment of Wellhead Compressor Stations (WCS) at production sites.

As part of these efforts, a project has been implemented to install WCS units at the Girsan and Chulkuvar fields of Mubarek NGDU. Within the framework of this project, JSC “Maxsusenergogas” has completed construction for the “External Power Supply Project for WCS-1 ‘Girsan’ and WCS-2 ‘Chulkuvar’, including a double-circuit 35 kV overhead line and relocation of a 35/6 kV 2x2500 kVA substation.”

The following works have been completed under the project:

• 6 kV overhead line Chulkuvar–Girsan, length: 16 km

• 35 kV overhead line Kultak–Chulkuvar, length: 24 km

• Construction of a 2x2500 kVA substation

This project ensures stable power supply for the newly commissioned WCS units.
